Calling all young creators ages 7–12! Join us for a fun and imaginative 4-week adventure into the world of character design, inspired by The Silver Way by Stephen Silver. In this exciting course, kids will learn how to bring their own unique characters to life—just like in their favorite cartoons and comics!
Each week, we’ll build skills and confidence through:

From shape design to expressive faces, outfits, and accessories, students will discover how every detail helps tell a character’s story.
By the end of the course, each artist will take home a personal portfolio featuring:

A bold silhouette design

A fun, expressive face sheet

A full-color character with outfit and props

A creative character bio and short story or monologue Perfect for kids who love to draw, imagine, and create their own worlds!
Comic Creator
*This is an in-person course. Classes are held in Killeen, TX*

All artists ages 7–12, get ready to dive into the colorful world of comic art! In this fun and creative 4-week course, young artists will learn how to tell their own stories through exciting illustrations, expressive characters, and cool comic panels.
Step by step, students will explore the magic of visual storytelling as they:

Design characters full of personality and action

Break stories into panels that guide the reader

Add speech bubbles, sound effects, and fun dialogue

Create their very own short comic strip from start to finish
Each week builds on the last—starting with character design and ending with a complete comic page they’ll be proud to show off!
By the end of the course, every student will go home with a finished mini comic and new skills to keep creating their own amazing stories!

Ages 10–15 | 4 Weeks | All Materials Included
In this uplifting 4-week course, tweens and teens will explore who they are through creative, meaningful art-making. With a mix of guided projects, journaling prompts, and inspiring stories, students will use color, composition, and symbolism to express their thoughts, emotions, and dreams.
Each week offers a chance to connect more deeply—with themselves and their creativity:

Week 1: Express mood and identity through bold, personal self-portraits

Week 2: Create uplifting affirmation art using mixed media and hand lettering

Week 3: Dive into their dreams, interests, and feelings through thoughtful prompts

Week 4: Curate a special “I Love Myself” mini portfolio of their favorite pieces
